Certifications

Patricia specialises in Ancient Hatha, Sivananda Yoga and Ashtanga Yoga, working with the following groups: adult beginners and adult intermediates. Some other specific groups are: kids yoga, yoga for fertility, antenatal, postnatal, and yoga for menopause.

 

Patricia has practiced many other styles such as Vinyasa, Power Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, Restorative Yoga and Yin Yoga. The main components include: asanas (positions), pranayama (breathing techniques), meditation, cleansing techniques, visualisations and Yoga Nidra.

Patricia is a Certified Yoga Teacher and Yoga Therapist. She has been practicing Yoga since 2005 and teaching since 2009. Highly motivated and with strong interpersonal skills, Patricia brings a lot of energy, kindness, and inspiration into her classes.

 

During a very intensive workload as a Quality and Environmental Auditor in London back in 2004, she developed Repetitive Strain Injury. After losing mobility in both arms, she tried a wide range of alternative therapies until she casually discovered Yoga. Captivated by the practice, she managed to heal the injury and decided to dedicate her career to Yoga and healing.

Patricia started in 2009 with the Ancient Yoga Teacher Training with Ayurveda Programme at Parmarth Niketan Yoga & Meditation Centre in Rishikesh, India.

 

In 2010 Patricia certified as Yoga Siromani (Master) from Sivananda Yoga Teachers’ Training at the Yoga Vedanta Forest Academy, Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Meenakshi Ashram in Madurai, India.

​

In 2011, Patricia took her Diploma in Yoga Therapy from Yoga Vidya Gurukul in Nashik, India. This included a practice at the Yoga Hospital in Nashik.

 

Since then, Patricia has taken a number of other courses including triyoga Pregnancy Yoga Training with Nadia Narain in London, UK.
